CHANEL PARIS MOSCOU // CHANEL PARIS MOSCOW // 2009 PRE-FALL COLLECTION

Some of the looks Karl Lagerfeld designed for the Paris-Moscou pré-fall 2009 collection, part of the Métiers d'Art collections.
Shown at Le Théâtre Le Ranelagh in Paris on Dec. 3rd 2008.
The strong influence of Russian (constructivists) artists (architects, poets, painters, film directors, photographers etc.) of the beginning of the XXe century mixed with Imperial Russia references is absolutely enchanting. Oppulent Byzentine-inspired jewels, incredible tiaras, shoes with gold-dome like heels and very rich embroideries were part of the show.
